The AAFF is a small organization that digs wells and builds schools in Afghanistan

The Afghanistan American Friendship Foundation is a relatively small organization with a big impact: it drills up to 25 wells a year, providing over 12,500 families with a lifelong clean water supply. These people have helped build and refurbish 12 schools as well as implement five technology education centers and one teacher training center.

Why we think this cause is special: The AAFF partners up with local people to give them work. The director lives in Afghanistan. While many organizations in Afghanistan spend upwards of $35,000 for a well, AAFF can build a well for about $4,500. It only takes $10 to provide an Afghan family with water for life!
